- Modify the Pre-solicitation to include the following FTP site information to obtain electronic copies of the drawings for the proposed project: ftp://208.85.148.6 username: Building6 password: bldg6 Original Pre-solicitation: The Huntington VA Medical Center, located in Huntington, West Virginia, is pre-soliciting qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses in construction to provide labor, materials, transportation, equipment and supervision to renovate and expand 8,000 square feet of existing outpatient mental health facilities for Psychosocial Residential Rehabilitative Recovery Center space within the facility. All work shall be completed within 250 days after the notice to proceed. The NAICS code is 236220 Industrial Building Construction; small business size is $33.5M. The estimated dollar amount of this procurement is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. Expect the solicitation to be posted with uploaded drawings and specifications on/or about 1 May 09. No hard copies provided. Pre-bid/walk-through is scheduled for 7 May 09 at 10:00am EDT, only one will be offered to interested parties and will be at bldg 8. Bid opening will be on/or about 2 June 09. And the deadline for receipt of questions is 15 May 09. Firms must be registered at Central Contractor Registry and at Vet Biz and Online Representations and Certifications must be completed by each bidder prior to the bid opening. Specifics on the project are as follows: It includes, but is not limited to, the architectural, electrical, and mechanical construction associated with renovating the prosthetics orthotics lab and physical therapy area. Work will include civil site improvements, general demolition and architectural work with complete new finishes, a new brick and glass addition featuring a main lobby with a three-story elevator and stair towers. Work will include all new electrical, HVAC, communications/data, and plumbing utilities as required. Construction shall be in accordance with professionally developed drawings and specifications.
