- Statement of Work for Ice Harbor Lock & Dam Spiral Case Drain Valve Scope To furnish two (2) new 16-inch gate valves with beveled gear operators to replace existing Spiral Case Drain valves. Two (2) sets of technical documentation, including technical data sheets, pipe size, cold working pressure, physical and flange dimensions shall be submitted to technical point of contact at site (through Contracting Office) for technical evaluation prior to contract award. Specifications Valve Powell #1793 or approved equivalent 16-inch Iron Body Bronze Trimmed Gate Valve with Standard Flange oClass 125 oOutside Screw Rising Stem oBolted Flanged Yoke-Bonnet oFlanged Ends Standard Flange ANSI B16.1 Class 125 Flanges All Materials used for gate valve not specifically mentioned but necessary, or are regularly furnished in order to provide a complete functional unit, shall be furnished by the contractor at the contract price. All furnished parts shall conform in strength, quality of material, workmanship, and sound engineering standards. oExisting Gate Valve, 16 Standard Flange, Gate Valve with Bevel Gear Operator Walworth #726 F, see attached reference drawing (next page) for specifications of existing gate valve B16.1 Class B Flanges Steam Rating 125 WOG Rating 150 Shell Test Rating150 Bevel Gear Actuator Bevel Gear Actuator to allow Hand-wheel to be operated at 90 degree from Valve Stem Schedule All components shall be delivered no later then ninety (90) days after the receipt of contract award. Contractor shall make prior arrangements with the Government personnel at site to receive and unload the equipment. Delivery All items shall be delivered FOB to Ice Harbor Project. The Contractor is responsible for packing and shipping components in a manner that will ensure undamaged and complete arrival to Ice Harbor Dam. Normal working hours at Ice Harbor Dam are 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, excluding holidays. The delivery shall arrive between 7:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. during our normal working days. Delivery made outside of this time slot will not be accepted. This is to allow for unloading and inspection. The delivery shall be made to the south side of the dam. The delivery address is as follows: Ice Harbor Dam 2763 Monument Drive Burbank, Washington 99323 Contractor shall make prior arrangements with the government personnel at site to deliver and unload the equipment. Operations & Maintenance Manuals Contractor shall also furnish three (3) copies of the O & M manuals, complete with recommended maintenance schedules and a detailed parts list. The delivery of the manuals shall occur no later than ninety (90) days after the receipt of contract award. Warranty All parts shall be covered by a materials and workmanship warranty for a period of no less then one year from the date of acceptance.
