Thecurrent hardware configuration was Full Operational Capability (FOC) inSeptember, 2005 and is planned to support the Fleet Marine Force through2011. These additional peripherals are required to complete the build-out for thesystems and require an exact duplicate form, fit, and function with novariationin size, speed, or interface. The current hardware configuration baseline isdocumented in multiple logistics documents (i.e., SL-3, ULSS, TDP), and isregistered with Marine Corps Logistics Command as part of the data packagefor the system's National Stock Number (NSN). Acquisition of dissimilarhardware components would require revisions of all programmatic supportdocumentation. In addition, dissimilar hardware would require the re-engineering of the software package that is fielded with the system toincorporate hardware specific software drivers. Delivery for the equipment shall be 10 weeks after receipt of the contractaward. Due to critical mission requirements, delays beyond the above deliveryschedule are unacceptable. A commercial, firm-fixed-price type contract isanticipated. The applicable North American Industry Classification System(NAICS) code is 334119, and the size standard is 1,000 employees.
