Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13.5, as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is NRMAC100-9-12421(SDC) and issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein. The U.S. Department of Commerce, NOAA/OAR/ARL/ATDD, has a requirement for eight (8) personal computers as replacements for outdated computers at ARL's headquarters office, 1315 East West Highway, Room, SSMC-3, Room 3151, Silver Spring, MD 20910. Each system requires the following: 1) Small Form Factor; 2) CPU - Intel Core 2 Quad 9400 (2.66GHz, 1333 MHz FSB, 6MB cache); 3) RAM - 4GB; 4) Hard Drive - 250 GB; 5) DVD ReWritable Drive; 6) Operating System: Windows XP Professional with Vista Business License English; 7) Support Dual DVI LCD Monitors; 8) Two 22" LCD Monitors; 9) Gbit NIC; 10) 3-year Onsite Service - Next Business Day; 11) Integrated/internal speaker; 12) USB Keyboard; 13) USB Mouse. All vendors interested in submitting a quote for consideration should do so, prior to the solicitation closing date, in the form of an email to the point of contact(s) listed in this solicitation.
