Description

During the period of 1 October 2009 through 30 September 2008, this procurement will provide supplies and services to support planning, demonstration, and implementation of all efforts required under the ratified Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (START). SSP intends to enter into this agreement with Alliant Techsystems Inc., Bacchus, Magna, Utah 84044-0000, since they are the only known source of having site experience with the inspection of strategic missile systems. This contract will also include a one-year option period. Security Clearance Required. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, all responses received within fifteen days of the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. See Numbered Note 22.
