Description
This notice hereby amends the Sources Sought Notice posted at www.fedbizopps.gov on February 18, 2009, which sought sources for the competitive procurement of the effort entitled Digital Well Log Data Processing, involving the processing of data from offshore oil and gas well logs. This amendment changes the procurement of this effort FROM being procured under FAR Part 12: Acquisition of Commercial Items, TO FAR Part 15: Contracting by Negotiation. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this requirement remains unchanged: 213112, Support Activities for Oil and Gas Operations. The United States Department of the Interior, Minerals Management Service, anticipates awarding an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, based upon the availability of funds, with one Base Period of One Year, and Four One-Year Options. Award will be made to the offeror whose offer is most advantageous to the Government based on the factors contained in the solicitation. Vendors who previously responded to the February 18, 2009, Sources Sought Notice, need NOT request the RFP again: you will receive the RFP when issued. Interested vendors who did not previously contact the POC below, and are interested in receiving the RFP, please respond on or before May 12, 2009, to request the RFP when it is issued. POC: Debra Bridge, Minerals Management Service, Procurement Operations Branch, MS-2101, 381 Elden Street, Herndon, Virginia 20170-4817, debra.bridge@mms.gov.
