Description

RECOVERY - IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE TRANSPARENCY AND ACCOUNTABILITY REQUIREMENTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATIONS PROVIDED BY THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND RE-INVESTMENT ACT OF 2009, Pub. L. 111-5, THE GOVERNMENT POSTS THIS NOTICE OF INTENT TO ISSUE AN 8(a) SOLE SOURCE REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL TO ASSOCIATES ROOFING & CONSTRUCTION (ARC), INC., 1135 BURGESS RD. MURRELLS INLET, SC 29576. THE PROJECT DESCRIPTION IS AS FOLLOWS: The contractor shall complete 100% design, construct, deliver and warranty the final end product in accordance with the statement of work provided in the solicitation. Work shall include but is not limited to the following areas: The HVAC System repairs shall include replacement of air handlers, oil fired heaters with air conditioning coil, supply/return grilles, ventilation ductwork, update of current electrical areas associated with the service bay, install duct smoke detectors, and tie back to a new firm alarm system. Pursuant to section 8(a) of the Small Business Act (15 U.S.C. 637(a)), and in accordance with 13 CFR 124.1-1(c) and FAR 19.8, the Small Business Administration has accepted this requirement on behalf of ARC, Inc.
