- Description
- AMENDMENT ONE Question 1: Would a cover letter, surety letter and general contractor's license count toward the 10 page limit? Answer 1: Contractors are required to submit the requested information found in the Stage I factors for viability and the corporate surety letter. If additional information is submitted in Stage I, i.e. General Contractor license, it will be counted towards the 10 one-sided 8-1/2"x 11" pages or 5 double-sided 8-1/2"x 11" pages limit for the Stage I submission. A cover page, table of contents page and section separators will not count towards the page limit. Question 2:Where can I get the Request for Proposal for this project? Answer 2: The Request for Proposal (RFP) is not available under the Presolicitation Notice/Stage I. The RFP will be sent to all VIABLE Offerors following Stage I evaluation. Offerors that are deemed NOT VIABLE based on their submission to Stage I may still request the RFP from the Contracting Officer, and participate on Stage II. Question 3: When will the Stage I CMcs for the Construction Phase be selected and displayed? Answer 3: Offerors presenting in Stage I will be notified of viability on or about May 15, 2009. Names of VIABLE Offerors will not be released. AMENDMENT TWO Question 4: Who is the Architect for the project? Answer 4: An Architect/Engineer has been selected under Solicitation Number GS-04P-05-EX-C-0053 in 2005. The selection will be posted on fedbizopps.gov when the contract is awarded. It is anticipated that the contract will be awarded in the 4th quarter of FY09. Question 5: Where and when is the Pre-Proposal? Answer 5: A Pre-Proposal Conference and site visit will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2009, at 10:30 AM CST, in the Robert Smith Vance Federal Building in Courtroom 3 in the 3rd Floor West Wing. The conference requires identification is required for building entrance. AMENDMENT THREE Question 6: Could you please let me know what forms, etc. need to be filled out to start the process with GSA? Answer 6: Offerors are not required to submit forms for the Stage I presolicitation notice and there is no required format for the submitted information to be presented in. Please reference the presolicitation notice for the specified requirements. Questions 7: Is there a pre-qualification packet available for subcontractors and suppliers for this project? How do subcontractors and suppliers get involved in the project? Answer 7: There is no prequalification packet for subcontractors or suppliers. GSA will host an Industry Day/Networking Session once the CMc for this project has been selected. The Industry Day/Networking Session provides an opportunity for potential subcontractors and suppliers to market their services to the selected Offeror. Question 8: Do all of the similar projects that we submit have to be renovations that exceed 100,000 G.S.F. and $25-million or would it be acceptable to submit a variety of projects that collectively meet all of the requirements? Answer 8: You may submit any projects that you deem to be similar per the requirements that are outlined in the presolicitation notice. GSA will be using the similar requirements in the presolicitation notice to advise potential Offerors whether they are considered "VIABLE" OR "NOT VIABLE."
