- Description
- Furnish labor, equipment, supplies and materials to construct five livestock pipelines on BLM property. The bid schedule line items are as follows: 1) Mobilization, 1 lump sum; 2) Trenching (Common) Backfilling & Compacting, 18,480 linear feet; 3) Trenching (Rock) Backfilling & Compacting, 2,620 linear feet OR (4) Plowing, (Common) Backfilling & Compacting, 20,600 linear feet; 5) Plowing, (Rock) Backfilling & Compacting, 500 linear feet; 6) PVC, Class 200, 1 1/2 inch pipe, 21,100 Linear Feet, OR 7) HDPE, SDR-11, 1 1/2 inch pipe, 21,100 Linear Feet, 8) Curb Stop Assembly, 1 inch, 6 each; 9) Air Relief Valve Assembly, 6 each; 10) Hydrant Assembly, 9 each; 11) Well Pipeline Hookup, 2 each; 12) Pump Facility, 2 each. Work under this contract is located in Fallon County. The period of performance is 57 days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Work will start on/about 7/17/2009. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 237110. This is set aside for Small Business Concerns. The small business size standard is $33.5 million. A 100% payment protection will be required for contracts greater than $30,000.00. Payment protection will be due upon notification of our intent to make award. Payment protection can be submitted by an Irrevocable Letter of Credit, Certificate of Deposit, or Payment Bond. A tentative Site Tour is scheduled for June 10, 2009 at 9:30 AM. More information on the site tour will be posted in the Solicitation. The solicitation will be posted on/about May 21, 2009. No hard copies of the solicitation will be sent out by this office and will be available at "https://www.fedconnect.net/FedConnect/". Response date for quotes will be on/about June 22, 2009. Please check the solicitation for all required documentation to be submitted. Prospective contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA) prior to award. Lack of registration in the CCR and ORCA databases will make an offeror ineligible for award. Information on CCR registration can be obtained via the internet at "http://www.ccr.gov", and Annual Representations and Certifications (ORCA) online at "http://orca.bpn.gov".
