Description
VISN 10 Contracting, Columbus, Ohio is seeking sources to provide Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Architectural/Engineering (AE) design services for multiple disciplines. The RFQ pre-solicitation announcement was posted on April 10, 2009. The following is a list of questions and answers received in response to the pre-solicitation notice. A/E IDIQ Additional Technical Questions as of May 6, 2009: Question 15: Are you able to check and provide us with the names of Architectural Firms which comply with your criteria? Answer: Please visit www.ccr.gov and conduct a search to obtain a listing of A/E Emerging Small Businesses that comply with the criteria. Question 16: The project is noted as being reserved as an 8a set aside. Is any consideration being made for other qualified social and economically disadvantaged classifications. Specifically SDVOB? If so what are the targeted goals in terms of percentage of the work and is there any leverage given to contractors meeting those goals in terms of sub contracts and teaming? Answer: This project is 100% 8a set aside. Question 17: If you could please tell me who the Architect was for the Chalmers P. Wylie VA Ambulatory Care Center, and the consultants, I would really appreciate it. Answer: The contract for the Chalmers P. Wylie VA Ambulatory Care Center building was awarded to Walsh/DeMaria Joint Venture by the Department of Veterans Affairs Central Office in Washington, DC. Further inquiries about this subject matter will need to be addressed by contacting VA Central Office in Washington, DC.
