Description
N68335-09-R-0208 _Price List (Attachment to Synopsis) The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a non-competitive (sole source) basis with Northrop Grumman Bethpage, NY for the manufacture and delivery of numerous items of Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE) used to perform maintenance on the E-2 aircraft (see separate parts list document). These items are mainly mechanical in nature and consist primarily of aircraft slings, jacks, supporting pads, pullers, and locking fixtures. The manufacturing, assembly and production of these items shall be accomplished at the contractor’s facilities (or government approved vendor facilities). The contractor shall identify and serialize all equipment in accordance with Navy Drawing 3909AS9999, Support Equipment Identification Plate MIL-STD-300 Standard Practices for Identification, Unique Identification (UID). The contractor shall deliver to the government, under Form DD250, all items of equipment, inspected by DCMA (Defense Contract Management Association). Equipment shall be packed to avoid damage to equipment, and shipped by traceable means in accordance with best commercial practices. Items shall be delivered FOB destination. All equipment delivered under this order shall be free from defects in workmanship and materials for a period of one (1) year from shipment date. One (1) option period for a quantity of six (6) additional parts (see list) shall be provided to allow for additional procurements of the same or related equipment. The Navy intends to procure this effort under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (C)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own current data, drawings, or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
