Description
The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate and issue a period of performance extension to the existing Airborne Mine Countermeasures (AMCM) effort N00019-03-G-0003-0030 Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) via a delivery order issued against BOA N00019-08-G-0010. The contract type is anticipated as Cost Plus Incentive Fee (CPIF) and will be issued on an other than full and open competitive basis to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (SAC) 6900 Main Street, P.O. Box 9731, Stratford, CT 06615-9129. The anticipated work is required for SAC to ensure completion of Organic Airborne and Surface Influence Sweep (OASIS) Cadre training. Additionally SAC will support the MH-60S AMCM AN/AQS-20A flight test efforts including correction of deficiencies during flight test and as a result of test. SAC shall also modify the MH-60S AMCM aircraft to incorporate the Block 2B mission sensor/weapon systems on the air vehicle structure, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and flight control associated systems. The AMCM Block 2B sensor/weapon system includes the Airborne Mine Neutralization System (AMNS), Organic Airborne Surface Influence Sweep (OASIS), Rapid Airborne Mine Clearance System (RAMICS) and Airborne Laser Mine Detection System (ALMDS) and other related systems. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency’s requirements. SAC is the only known source with the knowledge, experience, expertise, and proprietary technical data required to successfully perform these tasks. This synopsis is for information purposes only.
