- Duration of Contract Period: 5 Years Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. This is a requirement for the overhaul of the F-15 rudder actuator. The contractor shall provide all labor, facilities, equipment and all material to accomplish the overhaul, test, packing, preservation and packaging of the F-15 rudder actuator. A firm fixed price contract is contemplated. The solicitation number will be FA8118-09-R-0049. The item and quantities are as follows: Item 0001: Overhaul NSN 1650-01-068-7768, P/N: 3U3151-5E, Noun, rudder actuator; Applicable to F-15 aircraft; Quantity: Basic Year, 100 each; Option I, 100 each; Option II, 100 each; Option III, 100 each; Option IV, 100 each. Item 0002: Over and Above Work.Item 0003: Data IAW DD 1423.Deliveries are to be 8 each per month 30 days after receipt of order and reparables. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 15 May 2009.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS APPLY. Award will be based on meeting our requirements and cannot be delayed pending qualifications of additional sources. APPROVED SOURCES are: GE Aviation, Duarte, CA, Cage Code 1VL92. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. PR Number is FD2030-09-07307.NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
