- A Pre-Proposal Conference Site Visit is planned for parties interested in the Modular Amphibious Egress Training (MAET) program at the Camp Pendleton, CA location on 22 Apr 2009. All interested parties desiring to be placed on the contact list for attending this conference/site visit are requested to submit such a request to Sandra Davey at sandra.davey@usmc.mil and Dan Mobley at daniel.mobley@usmc.mil. NO PHONE CALLS WILL BE ACCEPTED. The MAET training system trains passengers aboard water-borne crafts (including helicopters, light armored vehicles, amphibious vehicles and the MV-22 aircraft) to successfully egress a ditched craft, employ the use of emergency air, and deploy flotation devices necessary to rescue. There are MAET training locations in Japan (Okinawa), Hawaii (Kaenohe bay), Camp Pendleton, CA and Camp Lejeune, NC. The government intends to a release a final RFP Approximately 4/30/2009.
