- This is a Sources Sought Announcement for The National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), Intramural Research Program (IRP) for which the agency is seeking to set-aside for small business. The agency requires a FAST 16-MKII System include the following items: Qty Description 1 4 Expandable to 8-Channel Programmable Gain, Fast 16-MKII Control Box/ Interface System/ DD Interface/ Auxiliary Inputs and Output 1 16-bit 1.2 GHz A/D Board with custom interface 1 Fast-16 (Windows XP-based) Software Shareware 1 On-site Training and Installation Includes 1 yr Software SupportFor Anesthetized Recordings: 2 Fast-16 Low Noise Headstage (first) 4-channels 2pA/mv (500X gain); (second) 40channels 20pA/mv (50X gain) 1 Recording Kit (Includes, calibration stand, calibration holder, calibration bath)For Awake Recordings:2 mk-II Rat Hat (Headstage (first) 4-channels 1pA/mv(500X gain); (second) 4-channels 20pA/mv (50X gain)1 Commutator for Freely Moving Recordings (swivel combo including Commutator and connecting cables) Interested Small Business concerns should respond with a capability statement no later than May 22, 2009 with length no longer than 10 pages. Capability statements must reference similar work that has been performed by the contractor, the dollar value of that work, and contract information for references knowledgeable about the quality of work completed. All business concerns who respond to this announcement will receive notification of how NIH intends to proceed with this requirement. Please reference the sources sought number on all related correspondence. No collect calls will be accepted. No facsimile transmissions will be accepted.
