Description

Construction of a concrete foundation and slab and the installation of a pre-engineered metal building with utilities and site works complete and ready for use as an Emergency Operations Center (EOC) at a site along the Ruta de Delmas, just North of Port Au Price, Haiti. Construction of the EOC and support facilities shall withstand hurricane winds of 150 mph (240 km/h) and seismic activity for zone 4. Approximate dimensions for the EOC shall be 47 feet (14.3 meter) wide, 84 feet (25.6 meter) long and eave height of 11 feet (3.4 meter). Site visit will be on or about 25 May 2009. Contractor must be eligible for country clearance, passports and applicable visas. Magnitude of project is between $250,000 and $500,000. This will be full and open competition to US and Local Haiti companies. Solicitation will be issued on or about 18 May 2009.
