Description: Construction of a concrete foundation and slab and the installation of a pre-engineered metal building with utilities and site works compete and ready to use as a Disaster Relief Warehouse at a site along the Ruta de Delmas, just Nort of Port au Prince, Hait. Construction of the DRW and support facilities shall withstand hurricane winds of 150 mph (240 km/h) and seismic activity for zone 4. Approximate dimensions for the EOC shall be 40 feet (13.3 meter) wide, 120 feet (36.6 meter) long and eave height of 14 feet (4.3 meter). Site visit will be on or about 25 May 2009. Contractor must be eligible for country clearance, passports and applicable visas. Magnitude of project is between $250,000 and $500,000. Competition is Open and Full to US and Local Haiti companies. Solicitation will be issued on or about 18 May 2009.
