- Description
- The Government intends to procure Engineering Support Services (ESS) for AN/SSQ-36, AN-SSQ-53, AN/SSQ -62, AN/SSQ-77, AN/SSQ/-101, AN/SSQ-110 and AN/SSQ-125 on a sole source basis. The requiring activity ( PMA 264, AIR ASW Assault and Special Mission Programs Program Office) has identified one sonobuoy manufacturer (Sparton Electronics) as contractor for this effort. This ESS is for Engineering Change Proposal Support. The requirements to be fulfilled stem from configuration changes, obsolescence issues, and new capabilities that have to be addressed within the current sonobouy types. This notice of intent is not a request for proposal (Solicitation). NOTE: DFARS 252.204-7004 Alternate A, Required Central Contractor Registration, applies to all solicitations issued on/after 6/1/98. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. Please ensure compliance with this registration when submitting your statement. Futhermore, the contractor awardee shall be required to self-register at https://wawf.eb.mil to ensure compliance and utilization of Wide Area Workflow (WAWF). 52.204-8 requires that each offeror complete the annual representations and certifications electronically via the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) website at http://www.bpn.gov. Each offeror shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, including Alt 1, Offeror Representations and Certifications / Commercial Items (JUN 2008) with its quote including DFARS 252.212-7000 Offeror Representations and Certification / Commercial Items (JUN 2005) if applicable.
