- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using simplified acquisition procedures as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation shall be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS (http://www.fedbizopps.gov) and NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil/). The RFQ number is N00244-09-T-0379. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-32 and DFARS Change Notice 20090115. It is the contractor's responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. Standard is 500 employees. The Government intends to acquire on a sole source basis with King Nutronics Corporation, Woodland Hills, CA the original equipment manufacturer. The items are replacement parts for the Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) for US Navy ships, submarines, shore stations and auxiliary stations worldwide. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, San Diego, Detachment Seal Beach is in need of the following: 0001 - P/N 3682-10-1, Ps Transducer (3 Each), 0002 - P/N 3682-10-3, PT1 Transducer (3 Each), 0003 - P/N 3682-13-1, Servo Control Valve, PT (5 Each), 0004 - P/N 3682-13-3, Servo Control Valve, PS (5 Each), 0005 - P/N 3666-264-1, Transducer (100 psi) (2 Each), 0006 - P/N 3666-38-7, Handle Assembly (30 Each), 0007 - P/N 3666-84-7, Strap (15 Each), 0008 - P/N 3666-91-1, Flex Circuit Assy. (2 Each), 0009 - P/N 904-3, Metering Valve Repair Kit (7 Each). F.O.B. Point: Destination to Seal Beach, CA, Delivery: 60 Days after receipt of order. The following FAR provisions and clauses are applicable to this procurement: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items; Addendum to FAR 52.212-1, Paragraph (b)(5) Offers shall provide an express warranty which at a minimum shall be the same warranty terms, including offers of extended warranties, offered to the general public. The proposed contract action is for commercial supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within five days after date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All re! sponsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency. Quoters must be registered in the CCR database to be considered for award.
