Description

SPAWARSYSCEN Atlantic intends to issue a commercial, FAR part 12, solesource contract, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source,to SyprisData Systems, 9515 Gerwig Lane STE 119, Columbia, MD 21046 for thepurchase of forty-four (44) Magnetic Tape Transport (MTT) Record /Reproducesystems, model 101E 28 Track 1. Sypris Data Systems is the sole manufacturerof this model. The Model 101E is the only mobile form factor record-and-reproduce system capable of handling MIL-STD 1610 1" magnetic tapes. AFirm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract isanticipated,for a base period of one-year and two one-year option periods. The applicableNorth American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334112 and thesize standard is 1,000 employees. This notice of intent is not a request forcompetitive proposals.
