C This procurement is being funded under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), PL. 11-5 (February 17, 2009). While funds are not presently available for this project, we anticipate funds will become available prior to award. If ARRA funds are not made available, this action may be cancelled. Center Names: Various Location:Oregon, Texas, Oklahoma, New York, South Dakota, and Nebraska. I. SOURCES SOUGHT – Wind Turbines Response Date: MAy 15, 2009@3:00pm edt - The U.S. Department of Labor (USDOL) wishes to procure design-build services to furnish and install wind turbines for the Department of Labor at Job Corps Centers throughout the United States. The wind turbines will be sized between 10 kW and 100 kW. The wind turbines will be attached to the electrical grid and provide power back to the grid when not powering a Job Corps Center. The expected number of locations is between 5 and 10. Locations are Oregon, Texas, Oklahoma, New York, South Dakota, and Nebraska. This procurement may be split by geographic region. Total construction range is between $1,000,000 and $3,000,000. This work is planned to take place between August 2009 to August 2010. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT for planning purposes only. Market research is being conducted to determine if there are small businesses with the capabilities and experience to perform the required work. All interested parties are invited to submit a capabilities statement to include three projects completed within the last five years that are relevant to the work that will be required under this project. Provide a point of contact for each project listed. Electronic versions of your capabilities statement shall be submitted VIA E-MAIL ONLY to arnold.johnny@dol.gov. (Johnny A. Arnold II, Contract Specialist,). Responses are due May 15, 2009 by 3:00 p.m. EDT. No proposal costs will be reimbursed. No contract will be awarded from this announcement.
