- RECOVERY THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. This is a notice of intent if the US Army Corps of Engineers, Memphis District to negotiate a sole source award withy Keith Contracting, LLC, 1104 E. Walnut, Columbia, MO 65201-4942. The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor and material for the improvement of Ditch 281-9, to include clearing and disposal of debris thereof; excavation and disposal of material thereof; modification of existing culverts with stone protection including furnishing and placing filter material and riprap after cutting or achieving desired culvert length; establishment of turf; and environmental protection. The estimated value of the work is between $250,000 and $500,000. The NAICS code is 237990. This contract action was accomplished using other than competitive procedures because a statue exists that expressly authorizes or requires that this acquisition be made from a specific source or through another agency; specifically, FAR 6.302-5(b)(4) for sole source awards under the 8(a) program 15 U.S.C. 637(a) and in accordance with 13 CFR 124.1-1(c) and FAR 19.8. Per FAR 6.302-5 a J & A is not required for this award.
