NOTICE: THIS PROCUREMENT IS SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS. The NAICS code for this project is 221330 (Steam and AC Supply), Business Size Standard is $12.5 Million. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Requesting quote on ONE (1) each Tube-in-Shell Heat Exchanger. Line Item Number One; The following are custom made items designated to maximize the use of thermal water in tubes. This cannot be U tube design. Geothermal water is rich in minerals that may result in buildup requiring frequent cleaning; the design must allow for this capability. Tube-in-Shell Heat Exchanger with maximum length 96 inches. Two inch connections required for space heating of water in the shell and for geothermal in the tubes. Geothermal water to be circulated through tubes. The tubes must be constructed of a corrosive resistant material. Space heating water circulated in/out shell. Shell heads must be removable for cleaning of tubes. Heat exchangers are to replace 2 NG boilers with outputs of 546,000 BTU/h and 630,000 BTU/h. They are to condition a space of 14,000s q. ft. GEO water temp. approx 138 to 143 degrees F. GPM = 3-4; PSI-50; Delta T = 20 Deg. F Space Heating Water EWT = 80 Deg. F; LWT = 105-108 Deg. F.; PSI=20-22. Note - 24 hours advance notice before delivery needed to make arrangements for personnel and equipment to be on hand to assist removal of shipment from truck. 120 days will be allowed for delivery time. Project delivery location is Hot Springs National Park, 101 Reserve St., Hot Springs, Garland County, Arkansas, FOB Point Destination. The selected Offeror must comply with the following commercial item terms and conditions, which are incorporated herein by reference: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition; FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items - the selected offeror must submit a completed copy of the listed representations and certifications; FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, paragraph (a) and the following Clauses in Paragraph (b): 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-36, 52.225-13, 52.232-33. Provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items, award shall be made to the Contractor whose quote offers the best value to the Government.
