- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This will be a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) as such a price list for the items is requested. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is for full and open competition for all items unless specified in attachments titled “BNJ Ammunition-Munitions Req.pdf". The Request for Quotes (RFQ) is for a FFP, to purchase Duty/Training Ammunition & Munitions for the Pentagon Force Protection Agency, Pentagon Police Directorate. The Government intends to make one award to the Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable offeror. However, if it is determined to be in the Government’s best interest to make multiple awards then more than one award may be awarded from this combined synopsis/solicitation. The Washington Headquarter Services (WHS), Acquisition and Procurement Office, Department of Defense, 1155 Defense Pentagon, Washington, DC 20301-1155 intends to purchase the highlighted items on the spreadsheet, brand name specific. Quote are due no later than 1:00 pm, Eastern Standard Time, Tuesday, May 26th, 2009 (18 calendar days). This acquisition will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 13.
