- Because the Air Force Acquisition team is evaluating responses to our prospective change to the acquistion strategy which could split this combined requirement to accomplish the acquisition within the scope of the respective KC-10 existing CLS contract and the KC-135 ATS follow-on source selection, it is necessary to amend this pre-solicitation notice and cancel the Industry Days Conference that was to be held at Travis AFB the week starting 18 May 09. We will publicize our decision on the change in strategy with further details within the next 10 days. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (08-MAY-2009); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
