Description

This procurement is being funded under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), PL. 11-5 (February 17, 2009). While funds are not presently available for this project, we anticipate funds will become available prior to award. If ARRA funds are not made available, this action may be cancelled. Center Name: Miami Job Corps Center Location: 3050 NW 183rd St Miami Gardens, FL 33056 I. SOURCES SOUGHT – Solar Hot Water Heater This project is to design/build a solar hot water heater for a dormitory at the Miami Job Corps Center. The solar hot water heater will include a tank, solar collection system, and connection to the water distribution system. Total construction range is between $100,000 and $500,000. This work is planned to take place between August 2009 and August 2010. Response Date: May 15, 2009@3:00pm edt - This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT for planning purposes only. Market research is being conducted to determine if there are small businesses with the capabilities and experience to perform the required work. All interested parties are invited to submit a capabilities statement to include three projects completed within the last five years that are relevant to the work that will be required under this project.
