- Description
- There will be no additional extensions to the deadline Q1) For the Technical Assistance, do you expect detailed planning for the airports or broad strategic planning for “Proacesso”? A1) Task 2 in the Terms of Reference requires an evaluation and revision of the long-term strategic plan (2009-2029), an update to the actual implementation program, among other activities. SETOP recognizes that because of the timeline and resources, a complete reevaluation and update to the long-term plan may not be possible, but we understand that the planning of Proaero for at least the period 2009-2014 is possible (2014 is the end of the term for the next state govt.) Q2) For Task 3, what are the objectives of the Workshops? A2) At this time, SETOP would like for the Workshops to be technical in nature (with the objective of presenting engineering best practices, new equipment, etc…) as well as cover management (airport administration best practices, best practices for administration of small and medium-sized airports, cargo airport experience, etc..) Q3) Will the Aviation Plan of the State of Minas Gerais (PAEMG) be revised? A3) No, PAEMG should be taken into account and should be a source of information used to establish some parameters. Since the work to completely update this plan is so complex and requires field studies of each airport, only the beginnings of an update to this plan are expected. Q4) Will the municipalities mantain the airports in the Proaero Program? A3) The responsibilities for the maintenance may be either of the State Government or the Municipalities, currently there are no defined rules on this. SETOP would like one of the tasks of this Technical Assistance to be to define how the airports should be managed, helping to create administration models, including possibilities for private concession or Public Private Partnerships.
