- Description
- The 1st Special Operations Contracting Squadron at Hurlburt Field FL intends to award a Sole Source purchase order to Crisis Response International (C.R.I.) Inc for Line Item 0001: Special Forces Team and Individual Force Protection Tactics in High Risk Environments Course. This award is 100% set aside for small business and is under North American Industry Classification System Code 611699 with a small business size standard of $7M. This sole source action is being accomplished under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(i)(A). The government believes that C.R.I, Inc is the only known source that has the expertise, equipment, facilities and environment to provide this training in the Las Vegas area. This notice is NOT a request for quote. However, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation in sufficient detail to allow for evaluation of the proposal product for acceptability and comparability or as an equal product to the requirement listed above shall be considered by the agency at or before 4:00 PM (central), 14 May 2009. Any information received will only be considered for the purpose of conducting a competitive procurement. The contract award number is FA4417-09-P-0085 in the amount of NOT TO EXCCED $49,000.00. STATEMENT OF WORK SPECIAL TACTICS TRAINING DESERT ENVIRONMENT 1.0 WORK INCLUDED: The contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, equipment and materials, and performing all operations in connection with readiness training for deployment of Special Operations personnel encountering increased attacks on convoys in desert and mountain environments. 2.0 JOB DESCRIPTION: The work to be performed includes but is not limited to the following features. 2.1 Provide training in environment specific to requirement – in location near Nellis Air Force Base, NV. Team members will learn from Mid-Eastern teachers advanced shooting and driving skills, mounted and dismounted operations during ambushes, recognition of IEDs and advanced defensive tactics. 2.2 Instructors shall provide scientific insight on the mindset of a terrorist, and teach tactical driving and survival skills derived directly from studying and experiencing real terrorist attacks. 2.3 Contractor will provide middle and near-eastern instructors with the capacity and experience in academics, tactics and techniques unique to bolster unit’s ability to execute mission in the direst of circumstances. 2.4 Contractor will provide integrative drills and hands-on tests precisely calculated in accordance with psychological research to verify trainees have mastered mental discipline and tactical expertise needed in order o perform correctly and increase odds of survival in a combat environment. 3.0 HOURS OF WORK: 24/7. 4.0 COORDINATION OF WORK: The contractor shall coordinate all work through the using agencies Point of Contact (POC) and the Contracting Officer or his/her representative. 4.1 Protection of government property: Contractor shall protect government property from any possible over spray or water damage at all times during the accomplishment of the work described for this project.
