Description

Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures and provide all labor, material, and equipment necessary to perform work for project 538-09-120, entitled REPLACE ROOFS B24, 26, 27, 30, 210, 211, 18, 21, 35, 212 and Corridors at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Chillicothe, Ohio as required by the specifications and drawings. The work includes, but is not limited to, general construction and roofing installation. Work to be completed within 270 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Plans, specification, and drawings will be available on-line o/a May 26, 2009. Estimated cost range is between $1,000,000.00 and $2,000,000.00. A pre-bid conference will be held Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. (local time) in Building 1 Room 121 at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 17273 State Route 104, Chillicothe, Ohio; all prospective contractors, subcontractors and suppliers are urged to attend. This will be the only site visit scheduled for this project. Bid Opening is scheduled for Thursday, June 25, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. (local time) This project is 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. NAICS 238160.
