Description

Amendment to solicitation. On or about Page 19 - change DUTIES toread: Perform all duties and responsibilities expected of a staffhospitalist. Duties include, but are not limited to: Providing staffattending coverage on medicine inpatient services coordinating internalmedicine subspecialty care. Individual will be responsible for care ofpatients. There will be no formal in-house overnight call. Weekendduties will be roughly once a month, requiring the hospitalist to managepatients admitted overnight. Individual will actively participate as amember of the multidisciplinary treatment team and participate inmedical staff quality improvement and review activities. Physician willwork with other physicians, physician extenders, residents, registerednurses and other staff assigned to performed duties to accomplish theneeds of the Medical Center and their patients. During the course ofduty, the contractor will also be included in the schedule with theother hospitalists who rotate providing internal medicine consultservices and pre-operative evaluations. Contractors may also be askedto assist with medical center functions such as peer-reviewing cases asrequested.
