Description

RECOVERY ACT CONSTRUCTION PROJECT Project Name: Recovery Act Renovate Dental Lab, Project Number: R540-09-101 This project will be a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside pursuant to 39 USC 8127(d) and PL 109-461 All work will be accomplished at the Louis A Johnson, VAMC, 1 Medical Center Drive, Clarksburg, West Virginia, 26301-4199 IAW FAR 36.204, disclosure of the magnitude of this construction project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00 All labor, materials, equipment and supervision to completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures in performing work for renovation of the Dental Lab on the 2nd floor of bldg #1. Work includes but is not limited to the removal of all existing case work, cabinets, fixtures and equipment and the installation of new case work, cabinets, fixtures and equipment. Work will also include the relocation and modification of all utilities as required by drawings and specifications. Contractor will be responsible for the removing, proper transportation on Medical Center property and disposal of debris. It will be incumbent on the contractor to address all issues surrounding the delivery of equipment and construction services that impact the site. Engineering disciplines needed but not limited to for this project include Structural, Fire Safety, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing. The solicitation and any amendments will be available electronically on FedBizOpps website (http://www.fedbizopps,gov). Solicitation posting date will be on or before May 29,2009 offerors are cautioned that it is their responsibility to access the website for any amendments that may be issued for the solicitation. A recommended pre-proposal site visit will be held June 9, 2009 at 1:00 PM at the Louis A Johnson, VAMC, 1 Medical Center Drive, Clarksburg, WV, in conference room 488. All potential prime and sup-contractors are encouraged to attend. Individual site visits will not be conducted. The specifications and drawings attached for the solicitation may be too large to open electronically. A CD disk copy of the specifications and drawings will be available at the time of the solicitation issuance and may be obtained by written request and remain a part of the solicitation.
