- Description
- This project consists of removal of existing guardrail posts, adding and compacting road base in the post hole to achieve correct guardrail height and re-install the posts and rail. Each complete run of guardrail will have a new Type 1 end terminal assembly installed at each end to replace the outdated terminal ends. This solicitation is set-aside for Small Business. Price Range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Solicitation will be available for download from FedBizOpps website at http://www.fbo.gov on or about May 27, 2009. A payment bond (100 percent) will be required after award. Note: prospective awardee shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) data base prior to award. Information on registration may be obtained via the internet at: http://www.ccr.gov or by calling 1-888-227-2423. All contractors and vendors must complete the electronic version of the Representations and Certifications (Section K in Solicitations) in the ORCA system. The ORCA site is http://www.bpn.gov - click on the Online Reps and Certs Application.
