Description
Marine Corps Installation East Contracting Department intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Requirements contract in accordance the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.5 procedures. The proposed contract will call for the preparation of personal property of military members and civilian employees for movement, drayage, storage and other related services for Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune and Cherry Point, NC. Solicitation number M6700109Q0019 will be issued as a Request For Quote (RFQ). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 484210 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The proposed requirements contract is 100% set-aside for small business. The resultant requirements contract will be for twelve months, with four (4) one-year option periods to be exercised at the discretion of the Government. The Government anticipates one award from the solicitation. The solicitation will be available on or about 25 May 2008 for download at Federal Business Opportunities, www.fedbizopps.gov and Navy Electronic Commerce Online, www.neco.navy.mil. It is the responsibility of the quoter to continually monitor the websites for the solicitation and any amendments. In order to receive an award, the quoter must be registered on the Central Contractor Registration website, www.ccr.gov and agree to implement the Department of Defense web-based software application for Wide Area Workflow Receipt and Acceptance (WAWF-RA) at https://wawf.eb.mil/.
