Description
The Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Aviation Administration Logistics Center (FAALC) ILS/ALS Shelter Project has a requirement being set aside exclusively for Small Business vendors as follows: Vendors shall provide all labor, material, transportation, facilities, expertise, etc. necessary to manufacture/assemble/procure and deliver to the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center in Oklahoma City Electrostatic Discharge-safe (ESD)Workbenches in support of the ILS Shelter Project in accordance with the attached RFQ and Statement of Work (SOW). The DOT/FAA anticipates the award of a Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Quantity/Indefinite Delivery type contract with one base year and four one year option periods. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 337127, Institutional Furniture Manufacturing, and the Small Business size standard is 500 employees. All offers are due by 3:00 p.m., Central Time, May 27th, 2009. The FAA prefers electronic submission of offers to the Contracting Officer at mary.skaggs@faa.gov. Offers can also be submitted by fax at 405-954-9219. If one of these options is not feasible, offers must be submitted to DOT/FAA/MMAC, Bid and Proposal Office, AMQ-100, Multi-Purpose Building, Room 313, 6500 South MacArthur Boulevard, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73169. If mailing a hard copy, please reference RFO DTFAAC-09-R-52227 and the Contracting Officer's name, Mary Skaggs, on the outside of your mailing package. Offers received after this date will be determined to be late and will not be considered for award and will be filed with the official award file. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
