- Description
- The purpose of this project is to continue the effort to enhance the data anlysis and evaluation capabilities within the States of the ten NHTSA Regions by providing them with the tools and support necessary to assist in planning and implementing sucessful traffic safety programs. The project previously involved seven regions and has now expanded to ten. Emphasis will be placed onthe following: 1. Expanded analysis and interpretation of fatality and injury trend data to support improved problem identification, program goals and perfromance measures; 2. Data collection tools to support the Annual Evaluation Report; 3. Special Ad hoc analyses and presentations to support technical issues workshops; 4. Review and monitoring of safety belt use survey protocols, assitance in the development of telephone and Department of Motor Vehicle surveys; 5. Development of plans for special program and project evaluation; 6. Data support for incentive grant program eligibility and reporting; 7. Consultation and training in the query of FARS and State databases; 8. Support in the development of State Traffic Records systems. Format of Corporate Capabilities Statement: Any interested organizations should submit the Corporate Capability Statement which demonstrates the firm’s ability and interest in no more than 10 pages to perform the key requirements described above. All proprietary information should be marked as such. All respondents are asked to indicate the type and size of their business organization, e.g., Large business, Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, Women-Owned-Business, 8(A), Historically Black College or University/Minority Institution (HBCU/MI), educational institution, profit/non-profit organization, in their response. Interested offerors shall respond to this Sources Sought Notice no later than 15 calendar days from date of posting. E-mail is the preferred method when receiving responses to this Notice.
