Description
Scope of work Complete Engine and Stern Outdrive replacement plus repaint, letter, detail and minor repairs of 1995 Duckworth Silverwing twenty-two (22) foot boat used at Dworshak Dam and Reservoir, Ahsahka, ID 83520. Item 001: Engine description Existing engine is a 5.7 cid carbureted, 250 hp engine. Current engine serial number is OF292958. The selected Contractor shall replace the existing engine with like fully dressed remanufactured or new engine of same make and model or approved equivalent. All new: -Gaskets & seals -Electrical components and connectors -Hoses -Belts -Seawater pump -Alternator -Power Steering pump -Fuel pumps -Fluids, oils, greases -Exhaust manifolds (compatible with existing heat exchanger system) -Other associated parts, pieces, hoses, tubes, connectors, valves, fluids, wires, needed to make installation fully functional and safe to manufacture recommendations. Other: -Reuse existing heat exchangers in the boat. -Reuse existing propeller -Remove existing freshwater drain system, both mechanical and electrical, and seal hull. Install new engine drain system. Item 002: Stern outdrive description The existing stern outdrive is a Mercruiser Alpha, serial number OF542029. The selected contractor shall replace the existing stern outdrive with same make and model remanufactured or new stern outdrive assembly or approved equivalent. For quotes submitted as approved equivalent to the Mercruiser Alpha stern outdrive serial number OF542029, the quoter must submit manufacturer product data sheets that reflect the product has the same or better performance capabilities. All new: -Transom plate & seal -Power tilt and trim motor and assembly -Gimble bearing -Other associated parts, pieces, hoses, tubes, connectors, valves, fluids, wires, needed to make installation fully functional and safe to manufacture recommendations. Testing The boat, with replaced engine and out drive, will be test run and put through full operating range and conditions for a period of not less than 1 hour. All engine and out drive operating parameters will be tested and adjusted to proper specifications, fluid level, seals and functionality of all new systems will be checked and verified fully operational after the run. The selected Contractor will provide a written certification of these tests. Warranty Manufacturer warranty not less than 1 year on all parts. Installation labor warranty Not less than one (1) year or fifty (50) hours of operation. Item 003: Painting, buffing, lettering and minor repairs The selected Contractor shall: -Repaint the boat exterior, including gunnels, stern and top of the boat with same color and finish. Current paint color is white. -Buff and/or sand out all scratches before painting to ensure a smooth finish. -Repair any broken or cracked welds on the hull that may be found. -Buff out all exterior aluminum surfaces to a shiny like-new finish. -Remove old lettering and re-letter boat as is currently, same size, color and verbiage. (refer to enclosed image to see current lettering). -Replace worn carpet around engine compartment with like color and style. Current color and style is Black Marine Carpet. -Detail clean the interior of the boat. -Replace broken/bent air vent on starboard stern. Schedule and delivery The boat engine, outdrive stern and all related parts shall be delivered to the selected Contractors business location. Dworshak Dam personnel will deliver the 1995 Duckworth Silverwing twenty-two (22) foot boat to the Contractor for installation, repairs and repainting within a one hundred seventy-five (175) mile radius of Dworkshak Dam. All repairs, installation and painting shall be completed 6 weeks after date of contract award. Contractor will make arrangements with Dworshak Dam personnel for repairs, installation and painting. Normal working hours at Dworshak Dam is 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Required quotes Vendors shall provide line-item quotes for each item below to include all installation, repair and repainting labor costs, testing fees, parts, components and warranties: 1. New engine 2. New outdrive 3. Remanufactured engine 4. Remanufactured outdrive 5. Paint, buff, letter and minor repair.
