Description
The VAMC Spokane, WA intends to Request a Quote for a Test and Certifying of biological safety cabinets, fume hoods, and IV clean rooms. NAICS: 541380. This notice of intent is a request for competitive quotes, any firm that believes it can meet the following requirements may give submit a written quote to the Contracting Officer, VAMC Spokane, WA 4815 N. Assembly St., Spokane, WA 99205 within five (5) days from the date of the publication of this synopsis: The equipment must meet the following criteria: 1. Test and Certify biological safety cabinets, fume hood, and IV clean rooms semi-annually in June and December a.1 - Chemical fume hood b.2 - Biological Safety Cabinets c.1 - IV clean bench/laminar flow IV clean room certification per USP 797 including biological sampling, hoods and clean rooms need to meet the requirements of the USP 797 and National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) 49 requirements All testing results will be submitted in writing, including interpretations of testing results indicating whether systems passed or failed. If we fail, the report must state specific reasons of failure and recommendations for improvements detailed in the inspection report. The report must be sent to the VA within 30 days from the time of inspection Joint Commission, United States Pharmacopeia Convention, and OSHA regulations for certifying vent/fume hoods and IV clean room All Technicians must have NSF 49 and /or National Balancing Bureau certifications, and shall present all certificates with quote Three (3) references from other clients of similar scope of work and value are required with the submission of a quote If the VA fails to meet the requirements of USP 797 or NSF 49, the inspection reports shall identify the specific reasons for failure and recommendations for improvements.
