- Supply: The United States Air Force has issued a sole source award to Vishay Transducers Ltd. for the purchase of six load cells part number ACLC-D3-10K-C5P5. These load cells are to be used to replace expired load cells in equipment manufactured by Vishay Transducers Ltd. The award date was 12 MAY 09. The NAICS code for this requirement is 333999 with a size standard of no more than 500 employees. THIS IS SOLE SOURCED TO VISHAY TRANSDUCERS LTD. DUE TO PROPRIETARY RIGHTS OF ORIGINIAL MANUFACTURER OF JETWEIGH PRODUCT LINE OF AIRCRAFT WEIGHING SYSTEMS. Central Contractor Registration (CCR) is required to receive any award. Contractors can register electronically at http://www.ccr.gov. ORCA registration is also required and contractors can register electronically at https://orca.bpn.gov. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals will be considered within 5 days after the publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Authority is 10 USC 2304 (c) (1).
