Description
The Marine Corps Logistics Command (LOGCOM) is seeking a Secondary Repairable Logistics Integration Support (LIS) service to develop and manage a commercial capacity to continue Remanufacture, Overhaul, or Repair (ROR) selected SECREPS as specifically described in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The goal is to provide responsive and cost effective supply chains for each National Stock Number (NSN) with increased component availability and reliability as a complement/alternative to any existing depot or Inventory Control Point (ICP) capabilities already in place. The envisioned contract vehicle is a 5-year (including options) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract with a single vendor containing a fixed price for ROR of each NSN and an Over and Above contract line item for items turned in by the Government damaged or otherwise outside the standardized configuration. The current list of items stands at approximately 700 different NSNs, and the potential IDIQ contract value is in excess of $200,000,000 over five years. The selected contractor will be required to perform certain functions (primarily accepting equipment from the Government, and shipping and receiving) on Marine Corps installations at five Government locations in California, Georgia, North Carolina, and Okinawa Japan, however we expect that the majority of the actual ROR capability will be obtained through subcontracting. Interested contractors must be able to provide the required services in all of these locations. The proposed NAICS Code for this acquisition is 541614- Size Standard is $7.0 Million. This solicitation will be issued as a Full and Open procurement. The projected period of performance is 5 years (3-year base ordering period and two option years) from the date of award. One or more of the items under this acquisition are subject to the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements. This Synopsis is not a request for competitive price proposals. Offerors are responsible for checking the FedBizOpps website for any update(s) to this Notice. The Government is not responsible for any loss of Internet connectivity or for an offeror's inability to access the document(s) posted at the referenced website.
