Description
In regards to the Section 3, there is an attached drawing. The items identified (shelving, doors, etc.) is a generic description scope of work, this will not apply to these units. However, dividers will be part of the drawer system to provide the handler options. Question #1 Section 3 Cabinetry/Cabinet: Do you have a layout drawing or design on the cabinet. It appears to be a “single drawer weapons locker”, but discusses adjustable shelves, vertical dividers and doors. In regards to the Section 3, there is an attached drawing. The items identified (shelving, doors, etc.) is a generic description scope of work, this will not apply to these units. However, dividers will be part of the drawer system to provide the handler options. Question #2 Will the chassis be delivered? It is NOW requested that the contractor provide a cost estimate to pick up these units at our warehouse in Sterling, Virginia via trucking company and drop ship via trucking company two units at Glynco Ga., one unit at Dallas, Texas, and one unit at Sterling Virginia. Complete address will be provided upon award of the contract. This is a change to the original statement of work. Question #3 Can you clarify the layout? It is a basic layout as far as a police package goes. It states in the scope of work plans need to be submitted for all electrical, cabinetry, and console before work will begin. This means that the contractor will have to provide proof of their knowledge of law enforcement vehicles and be able to work closely with ATF before any work is to begin.
