- Posting of solicitation documents is delayed until May 27, 2009. Bid opening date is delayed until July 1, 2009. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Reconstruction of approximately 1.5 miles of double-lane low-volume road (Low Gap Road, County Road 240). Work includes earthwork, erosion control, traffic control, gravel and asphalt paving. This is the same project announced in Sources Sought Synopsis AG-435H-S-09-0002. The solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis (open to both small and large businesses). PROJECT LOCATION: Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forests, Chattooga River Ranger District, Habersham County (County Road 240/Forest Highway 40), Georgia. ESTIMATE COST RANGE: between $1 million and $5 million. SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS: The solicitation and related documents will be issued via FedBizOpps on or around May 27, 2009. Printed copies of the specifications and drawings will be available for purchase from Gainesville Whiteprint; specific information will be included with the solicitation posting. There will be no hardcopies or CDs provided by the agency.
