- The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to issue a solicitation to Raytheon Systems Company (RSC) of Tucson, AZ, P.O. Box 11337 Tucson AZ 85734-1337, under contract N00024-07-C-5444 for procurement of two SeaRAM Anti-ship Missile Defense Systems. MK 15 Close-in Weapon System (CIWS) Phalanx Block 1 Baseline 2 to MK 15 Mod 4 SeaRAM Upgrades and Conversions - The Contractor shall perform upgrades and Class A Overhaul Conversions of two Block 1 Baseline 2 Phalanx Weapon Systems to SeaRAM Weapon Group (P/N 7662101). The Contractor shall procure material, refurbish, rework, manufacture and test, as necessary, to provide SeaRAM Weapon System upgrades and conversions per "MK 15 MOD 4 SEARAM CLASS "A" UPGRADE/CONVERSION." The hardware shall meet the requirements of WS33743B, the Product Configuration Baseline requirements, including Configuration Identification Manual (CIM) requirements, specified in "WEAPON SYSTEMS," the Government approved test procedures, and applicable drawings and specifications. The SeaRAM Weapon System baseline data shall be included and delivered within the Local Control Station (LCS) shipping container. The end item configuration shall be in accordance with the drawing package: DESCRIPTIONPART NUMBER MK 15 Mod 4 Weapon Group - 7662101MK 1 Mod 2 Local Control Station - 7662203MK 2 Mod 3 Remote Control Station - 7662271Shipping Skid - 5262535 RSC is the only qualified producer of SeaRAM and the only known source that possesses the requisite knowledge of the equipment and the expertise required to satisfactorily meet the requirements.
