- The Bureau of Engraving is hereby requesting quotes for the following: Box Fiberboard Corrugated Type 6, 275-pound test or 44 pound edge crush test equivalent corrugated fiberboard boxes C.S.S.C (Center Special Slotted Containers). Inside Dimensions: 43.8 CM (17.25 inches) width 28.6 cm (11.25 inches) depth 21.9075cm (8.625") a tolerance of plus+ or minus- 0.3 CM (0.12 inch) shall be permitted in each direction. Imprint "C" printed in black Gothic news type in characters approximately 2.54cm (1 inch) high. This imprint shall be placed on the long outer flap on the bottom of the box. Stock number 2L002019 shall be located 2.54cm (1 inch) below and parallel to the folding score of the flap, quantity 16,000 ea. Simplified acquisition procedures set forth in FAR Parts 12 and 13 shall be used. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; therefore, a written request for quotation will not be issued IN ORDER TO EVALUATE QUOTATION PROPERLY, PLEASE SEND A SAMPLE TO: Attn: Mary Hart, Bureau of Engraving and Printing 14TH and C Street S.W. Washington D.C. 20228 Room 708A. PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE NOTICE AND THE INSTRUCTIONS HEREIN. This procurement is 100% set aside for small businesses. The request for Quotation (RFQ) number is RFQ-09-000181a. Delivery terms are F.O.B. Destination to The Bureau of Engraving and Printing Landover Warehouse 3201 Pennsy Drive Landover Maryland 20785. The resulting purchase order shall be based on technically acceptable lowest price. All interested small businesses are requested to submit a written quotation which will be considered by the agency. Quotations may be submitted on a SF 1449 or on company letterhead. Quotations shall include the RFQ number, the proposed unit price, the proposed extended price, delivery date, any prompt payment discount terms, company name, point of contact, address phone number, fax number tax identification number, DUNS number, and business size status business. If this item is on GSA Schedule please provide the schedule number.
