- Description
- The United States Coast Guard (USCG) has a requirement to purchase: (1) a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 95 (ATON) SKIFFS (AB-SKF), (2) a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 60 ATON PUNTS (AB-PNT) and (3) associated trailers and equipment. The RFP is expected to be released on 19 May 2009 via the Federal Business Opportunity (FEDBIZOPPS) web page at www.fbo.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation and specification will not be issued. It is incumbent upon offerors to monitor the FEDBIZOPPS web page for RFP release and all subsequent amendments. The NAICS is 336612 (Boat Building). The USCG intends to conduct a competitive small business set-aside, with award being made on a best value basis. Contractors doing business with the Government are required to register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database before they can be awarded a contract.
