Description
Synopsis: REQUIREMENT: The U.S. Government is seeking to lease approximately 9,363 Rentable Square Feet yielding 8,122 ANSI/BOMA office area square feet of contiguous office and related space in Framingham, MA. Space must be situated within the revised delineated area which includes the Framingham Central Business District (CBD) which follows property lines as well as streets; extending North on Union Street to Worcester Road (Route 9); East along Worcester Road to Cochituate Road; North along Cochituate Road to Old Connecticut Path; following North on Connecticut Path to Speen Street; going Southwest on Speen Street, following town line to Hartford Road to the intersection of Concord Street (Route 126); and continuing along Concord Street South to the intersection of Union Street. The site should be within a relatively convenient and safe walk to secured parking immediately adjacent to the office for both employee and public use. One (1) reserved parking space is required immediately adjacent to the office. The site should be within a safe and convenient walk to coffee shops, restaurants, banks and other retail establishments. The site should be safely accessible by both automobile and public transportation throughout the extended workday (7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday). Space must meet the Federal Government's standards for fire safety, be capable of being fully accessible to the physically challenged, and be located outside a 100-year floodplain. Secure office space and facilities in an office building, fully-serviced and altered to Government specifications are required, to include ample windows to provide natural lighting and both public and separate employee rest rooms (located in the non-public area of the office). All services, supplies, utilities and tenant alterations are to be provided as part of the rental consideration. Space must be ready for occupancy in 2010.
