- Wage Determination Service Contract Act Design and Installation Guide, Prescribed Grazing 528 Performance Work Statement SF-1449, Solicitation/Contract/Order for Commercial Item The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), an agency of the United States Department of Agriculture, is seeking contractor(s) to provide Grazing Lands Inventory, in Adams, Grant, Mercer, Sioux, and Slope/Hettinger Counties, North Dakota. The intent of the Agency is to solicit the most efficient and effective manner to complete the requirements of this inventory. The contractor tasks will consist of conducting a complete vegetative inventory, identifying existing physical structures, analyzing the data collected, and work with producers to develop prescribed grazing plans. The primary source of technical guidance in completing tasks under this contract will be the Prescribed Grazing, 528 Design and Installation Guide. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items and support necessary to provide the services as solicited. Contractor will complete documents that demonstrate criteria in practice standards have been met and are compatible with planned and applied practices, identify fields where practices to be applied on a farm or ranch plan map, develop operation and maintenance plans, specification sheet that adequately describes practice requirements, certifying that the Grazing Management Plan meets practice standards and designing modifications during installation as required. The estimated performance period will begin approximately June 15, 2009 and ends December 31, 2009. The contract may include options for future years. The Contract period may consist of a base year and four (4) option years. The North Atlantic American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541690. A pre-bid/pre-proposal conference will be held on May 26, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. CST, location: Federal Building 220 E.
