Description
Small Business Sources Sought: This is a Sources Sought announcement seeking only Small Business responses in order to determine Small Business participation in this acquisition. The U.S. Forest Service, Washington Office International Programs office are seeking U.S. small businesses for providing Comprehensive Information, Medical and Security Assistance Support Services for International Travelers, including evacuation services. The U.S. Forest Service sends Temporary Duty (TDY) travelers to all regions of the world. There are approximately 1,100 trips annually. The U.S. Forest Service seeks services that require very little maintenance on behalf of USFS staff, and which are managed such that there are few administrative barriers related to enrollment, verification of eligibility for services, and action initiated and followed through on emergency mitigation, response and resolution. All information shall be disseminated through a website. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 624230, and the size standard is $6.5 million annually. Your response shall include the following information: size of company (i.e., 8(a), HUBZONE, WOSB, Veteran Owned, Small Disadvantaged Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned, etc.), revenue for the last three years, relevant past performance on same/similar work for not more than three years and your company’s capability to do this type of work. Documentation of technical expertise and capability must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition. It is imperative that business concerns responding to this sources sought articulate their capabilities clearing and adequately.
