Description
This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the test program for commercial items found at FAR 13.5, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil/). The RFQ number is N00189-09-T-0060. This combined synopsis/solicitation is a 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE requirement. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-2005-06 and DFARS Change Notice 20090115. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The NAICS code is 332322 and the Small Business Standard is 500 employees. The acquisition is to purchase various shipboard habitability equipment to include such items as light weight modular berths and component sub-assemblies to include lockers, shelves, brackets, curtain tracks, and subbases. All items required are listed in the TECHNICAL ATTACHMENT I. Light Weight Modular Berths Units and components shall be made in accordance with the Light Weight Modular Berth Procurement Specification Dated 1-25-2007 which is posted at https://www.spear.navy.mil/habitability/ under Habitability Drawings Library, Manufacturer's Detail Drawings. The technical point of contract for all submittals and approvals is MARMC Code 213, Baldev Gill, (757) 443-3872 ext. 1856, e-mail Baldev.Gill@navy.mil. Any deviations must be submitted for approval specific to the applicable solicitation or contract. All offers must include whether it is F.O.B. Origin or F.O.B. Destination. Required Delivery Date (RDD) of Material is July 6, 2009. If the offeror cannot meet the RDD, then include the new next 'best available delivery date in the quote. Responsibility and Inspection: unless otherwise specified in the order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements and quality control.
