Description
This firm fixed price award is against a previously existing mulitple award SABER IDIQ contract competed under the 8(a) set-a-side program. The contractor shall perform all services necessary to accomplish complete and functional installation of the proposed project. Teh work shall be accomplished in accordance with the SABER contract specifications, associated drawings and additional requirements of the task order statement of work. REQUIREMENT: The Contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment and incidentals necessary to install an underground sprinkler system in order to maintain the lawns of 6 military family housing (MFH) units on Aspen Street and the common areas around them. Shop drawings showing layout of sprinkler lines and heads must be submitted with the initial proposal and estimate. Also will be planting 135 trees in and around Titan Village 01 - Irrigation system: Install irrigation system in yards and common areas surrounding MFH units numbered 700-705 on Aspen Street and in the common areas behind MFH units 706 and 708. Sprinklers must have all heads inside the fences of each unit zoned separately from heads outside the fences. Installation shall include any and all necessary valves, valve boxes, and backflow prevention devices for each unit. All damaged turf must be repaired with sod. 02 - Electrical: Systems shall be installed with electronic controls inside the garage of each housing unit. Common areas behind MFH units 706 and 708 must be tied into existing system and zoned on the electronic controls already in place in those units. 03 - Landscapping: Will be planting a variety of trees in the yards of housing area on Aspen, Birch and Cedar Steets. 23 each of birch, crabapple, linden, red maple, and mountain ash and 20 blue spruce. Trees will be disperced evenly over the area. In addition, need to plant poplar trees in the Wing/Vice Wing Commanders back yards. Trees will be planted approximately 5' from and along the back fence. They will be spaced at 10' on center for a total of 18 trees. Planting holes will be twice the diameter of the root ball and 1 ½ times the depth of the root ball. Trees will be staked with 2 each metal T post and guye wire. Spruces will be stake down diagonally. All trees are to planted and tied to be plumb.
