- This modification removes the word "RECOVERY" in the title. THIS PROJECT WILL NOT BE USING THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) FUNDS. PROJECT DETAILS: This project will involve roadway drainage repair on 273 feet of roadway in Big Bend National Park, Brewster County, TX. Principal work items for this project include: lump sum contractor testing; lump sum removal of structures and obstructions; 1,800 cu yds of roadway excavation; 270 cu yds of polyvinyl chloride coated gabions; 14 cu yds of concrete; one concrete headwall for 60-inch pipe culvert; 150 ln ft of pipe culvert; 1,740 sq yds of rolled erosion control product; lump sum traffic control; all of the previous items along with associated survey and staking, soil erosion control, fence and conserved topsoil. All quantities are estimates and subject to change. Tentative advertisement date is May 22, 2009.
